FXPHD - NUK224 Zombie Panic


Its time for a whole new season of Zombies. Building upon our previous offering by kicking up the production quality NUK224 takes you into the production of a indie short film trailer Zombie Pandemic! During the term we will to take you through the process of filming onset supervision ****data acquisition and finishing a few shots for the short film trailer. This course focuses on techniques for a small independent budgets but shows how you can still create a strong visual punch.


Our focus will be on two amazing shots that you would see in your typical Zombie horror film: The Decapitation and The Crawling Torso. We are going to learn about the role of a VFX supervisor on set a VFX supes kit (the tools youll need) and how to get in and get the data you need without slowing down production. Some of the things we will get on set include Image Based Lighting spheres ****ure reference location survey data shooting lens distortion grids and camera information. We will cut our finished shots into the trailer for the short Zombie Pandemic!
